The demise of the virtual small book seller?

I recently read about the demise of a company that makes an eBook reader. That company, BeamItDown software, made a product called iFlowReader. The company is going to stop making the reader. Why? “We cannot survive selling books at a loss and so we are forced to go out of business. Can Caps Bump Bookstore Patronage?

Welcome back, book reader!

It could also mean a return of the patrons to the books stores. With less Internet to be surfed and excessive fees to be charged should you bust that monthly cap, users could be more retticent about gulping new data via WiFi on their iPads and home computers and more time touching, feeling and experiencing what lies beyond that.
