Here's a few photographs I shot this weekend. Annabelle and I had some time together, so I managed to sneak in a few of her. I covered a small area around my house. As always, comments welcomed.

We managed to spend about 45 minutes at the Perry Dogwood Festival April 12. Admittedly, its a small festival. Doubting Thomas played and there was plenty of funnel cake to go around. I brought my FlipVideo camera and managed to get a parse together a short video that includes Annabelle riding a horse. She also melts down when she gets blue ice cream but wants green. Classic Annabelle. Comments welcomed.

So, something personal to wrap up the US East Coast day.
This morning, my wife left her purse in a shopping cart (a la buggy). She went to her car, drove about half a mile, realized she'd left it, went back and it was gone. We asked the customer service counter in the store where she'd shopped twice throughout the day. Nothing.
So, we reported the stolen purse to the police. She didn't lose much, but she LOVED that purse (a black Coach bag and matching wallet I bought for her while at Abu Dhabi, UAE). Also, we have to change our bank account again. So, we spent an afternoon on the phone with our bankers. She'll also need a new driver's license and military ID.

For some freelance work that I'm doing, I recently interviewed the band Doubting Thomas. They played at the Georgia National Fair, where I caught one of their shows. The band is the only Catholic fath-based group in the southeast and trying to carve itself a nice niche. I think you'll like the interview, which I've linked, hopefully correctly, below.

I decided against going to DragonCon Saturday. I had a number of reasons. In the end, I just couldn't justify making the tirp. We'll be watching the Warner Robins Little League champions parade instead. So, no blogging updates.
