The 2008 Redneck Games! Whaht more can I say, other than a 75-minute drive and a day cut short by thunderstorms and bad behaviour toddler (not that I like to throw my daughter under the bus, but she did get bad at the end; and no nap either). However, I did manage a few photos as well as the few blog entries you saw today. Enjoy!

The day ends prematurely. Thunderstorms and a thunderstorm of a toddler get us to wrap this up. Before we leave, there's a horse shoe tossing contest -- with toilet seats. AB got a mermaid painted on her face. Photos later tonight.

AB just walked into the river. There's about 200 people wading in and for good reason. It's incredibly hot. A car alarm keeps going off, someone is yodeling and there are a lot of people with their shirts off. The air smells like pork and sun tan lotion. Some just swung off a tree rope and belly flopped. Ouch. But he is rejoiced!

At the moment, this seems to be more mall than "games." We might jiust be in between things. AB is getting a tat painted on. It's 2,156 degrees.

If you're scoring at home, we're lost and there are no signs. East Dublin, GA, isn't the metropolis it made itself out to be. The thermometer says 87, but there' enough humidity to snorkel in. We just stopped at a road side shop with various kinds of confederate flags. Yeehah!
