There are five of us who play Modern Warfare 2 on XBox 360 way too much. Sometimes, we’re even able to get all five of us together at once to play.
So, I got this bright idea. We should have shirts, something material to bind our camaraderie. As much as we played, it made sense. Plus, something to easily remember the time we, as a dults, wre way too into video games. :)
I already had an image of what I wanted in my head, so, why not make that into the clan image? I could get into all the initial imagery — our geography plus some slick typography and then a design that brings it all together. However, in the end I realized that it all was, in a word, crap.
The G-rated version
The first problem: my original image stunk. Horrible, cliché ideas. Nothing that would have been worth going through the trouble of putting up on Zazzle and selling. So, I let it sit a while between about 15 other projects. And then another idea hit me based on a funny conversation I had with my good friend mario about a Chuck Norris-like co-worker. From there the idea took off and that’s the shirt that’s available.
I know. It’s an almost complete aside to the writing. It’s also an aside to a couple of other projects I’m working on. However, I needed to finish this in order be productive with the next set of projects on the list.
There are two designs. One is the one I wanted. The other is a scaled back G-Rated version.

I sooo want one and I don’t think I’ve ever even been in the same room as that game. I also know a couple friends who may like it. :)
We just made a shirt on Zazzle at work today, but this design matches my boss’s motor home. Yeah. His motor home. There’s a facebook page for it.
